Getting deliveries in quarantine/self-isolation
When you are self-isolating or quarantining the UK government requires you to stay in your room at all times and we’re here to make sure you can follow the government's advice. One way in which we can assist you is to help you with your deliveries. As you can appreciate, we are extremely busy these days so here are a few tips so that we can work in unison when it comes to you getting what you ordered delivered!
Food delivery times

If you’re ordering food from a supermarket with home delivery or a takeaway, please make sure that it gets delivered during one of these timeslots:
- 10 am – 12 pm
- 2 pm – 4 pm
- 8 pm – 10 pm
This is when we normally have enough people at reception to make sure that we can take it up to your room without any unnecessary delays – you don’t want your pizza to get to you cold or ice-cream completely melted (and we don’t want that either).
Medications

If you are waiting for your medicine to be delivered to you, please contact reception in your hall to let them know that it is on its way. We don’t want you to wait unnecessarily for your medication and we will keep an eye out for them but only if we know about it coming.
Any other deliveries

There are local arrangements in each hall with regards to regular deliveries. They will normally be distributed once a day to the self-isolation/quarantining residents, but in doubt, please contact reception.
