Handel Mansions: Meet your warden and their team
Welcome to the University of London!
We hope that you settle in and have the best experience whilst studying and living here.
To make sure we are all on the same page, please have a look at our Accommodation Handbook; you will find it in the Useful Documents section on our official halls website. There is also a copy of the licence agreement which you signed when you accepted your offer of accommodation
To make sure you have the BEST time whilst living in halls, your accommodation has its dedicated Warden's Team: Resident Advisors and Warden.
Your first point of contact is your Duty Resident Advisor (Duty RA). They are available in the evenings and at weekends - please check the notice boards in the hall for the exact times when they're available. They can get in touch with the Warden at all times during an emergency or where a situation requires escalation.
The team supports the Warden and they are all students living in the hall so you should see them around. One of the team members will be on duty (please see Duty RA section). The whole team goes through extensive training at the beginning of the academic year to make sure they can help you when you need it the most, for example, they are trained in First Aid as well as Mental Health First Aid. Please, come and talk to any member of the team whenever you feel like you need some extra support or if you just feel like having a bit of a chat - we're here for you!
Your Handel Mansions warden is Ravteg S Dhesi
The Warden works full-time at the University of London as the Residential Life Manager and he is available on a part-time basis, usually in the evenings and at weekends. You can book an appointment to meet with the Warden by email (email@example.com) or https://ravteg.as.me/.
