The day-to-day environment in International Hall is varied and exciting, with facilities to suit every need. 

Your safety and well-being are our priority. International Hall offers a 24-hour reception, secure keycard access, an on-site Warden Team, and a dedicated Hall Management Team, ensuring support is always available throughout your time with us.

This accommodation has been adapted for residents with access or mobility requirements. The bathroom is a wet-room style that offers more space for wheelchair users.

Your room includes a mattress and a mattress protector, but you will need to provide your own bedding, including:

  • Duvet

If you are travelling light or arriving from overseas, you can order a bedding pack online before your arrival and have it delivered directly to International Hall.

International Hall offers both catered and self-catered accommodation, so the kitchenware you need depends on your accommodation type. If you are in catered halls, you will not need cooking equipment such as pots and pans, as breakfast and dinner are served every weekday, with brunch available on most weekends. You may only wish to bring basic kitchenware for preparing snacks and drinks.

  • Request a packed meal if you are unable to attend breakfast or dinner because of academic commitments

Yes, International Hall has an on-site laundry room equipped with washing machines, tumble dryers, irons and ironing boards.


Current prices are:

  • Cost per wash: £2.50
  • Cost per dry: £1.50

International Hall provides high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the building via Glide Resident.


Before connecting, you will need to create a Glide account through the Glide Sign-Up portal using your preferred username and password.

  • Find connection guidance


Letters and small mail items are delivered to your secure mailbox located near the main reception.


Large parcels are accepted by the reception team on your behalf and securely logged into the parcel management system.


You will receive an automated email from the Hall Team when your parcel is ready for collection. Parcels can be collected from the 24-hour reception desk by presenting your student card ID.
