Volunteer at our Clothes Swaps

Learn skills and support sustainability

The University of London Sustainability Team will be running six Clothes Swap across this academic year, in collaboration with UCL. The events are open to all students from any of our federation members – just bring your ID, and something to swap.

The events are completely free, and organised to persuade you to think about the carbon footprint of the clothing you choose.

But they rely on student volunteers to help run them, alongside one staff member. Do you want to help support a feel-good sustainable initiative? No prior experience necessary, just some enthusiasm.

Volunteering involves helping deliver the event on the day by greeting attendees, explaining the event, and helping to keep the stock neat and tidy. You don't need to commit to all events - you can sign up on a event-by-event basis.

If you are looking for an easy, low-commitment sustainability volunteering opportunity, please join us and help deliver Clothes Swaps. All you need to do is register your interest here and Kate from the University of London Sustainability Team will be in touch.

The next Clothes Swap will take place on Friday 14 November from 09:30am to 16:30pm.
