Donation Stations [International and College Hall]

Posted 17 hours ago

If you can't take, please donate.

Moving out of Halls? Think ahead to avoid a last-minute mountain of items you can’t pack and take away with you.

Every year, we see our waste volumes increase substantially across the move out period, with lots of perfectly usable items thrown out!

This blog is about the pilot Donation Stations being set up in International Hall and College Hall. If you reside at Garden Halls click here, if you live in any other hall, click here for general advice on avoiding waste at the end of term.

Donate Your Stuff

We are piloting 4 Donation Trolleys in your hall this year, so less ends up in General Waste.

There are 4 Donation Stations at each hall from 18th May 2026 until final move out day.

International Hall: Foyer, right hand side.

College Hall: Small TV Room, accessible through the Founders Room.

All suitable donated items will be given out to new students in September or donated to charity - Circular Economy in action!
