Words from Keith, the trainer:

Mindfulness โ€“ awareness training.

We live in an increasingly complex, busy, and distracting world. At times it can be discouraging and stressful. Political and environmental uncertainty, the pace of technological change โ€“ how can we keep up? Despite our increasingly connected world, people feel more disconnected and filled with feelings of loneliness and unhappiness. To try to tackle these problems without first becoming familiar with our own mind โ€“ who we are and what makes us tick โ€“ could be putting the cart before the horse. The approach of mindfulness and awareness practice is to focus our effort, not on fixing things, but on becoming aware of ourselves and the world around us. It may appear unusual, but by regularly practicing these techniques we may find a way to deal with stress and anxiety, and discover our natural intelligence, warmth, and openness.
