Not only is this a fantastic way to update your style without the cost, but it also reduces carbon emissions by approximately 70% compared with buying new.
The fashion industry contributes around 10% of global carbon emissions due to the energy-intensive processes involved in producing, transporting, and packaging new clothes.
Open to all students from the Intercollegiate Halls and the UCL community.
How it Works:
Bring Your Preloved Clothing: Dig out those items you've outgrown or no longer wear and bring them along. The clothing must be clean, free of faults, and of a good quality. We have the right to reject items at the volunteer's discretion if we don’t think the quality is high enough. Please also bring your student/staff ID card!
Browse and Select: Find something you like? It's yours to take home!
Loyalty Card: Didn’t find your perfect item this time? No worries! Grab a loyalty card, which gives you the chance to return to a future event and find something new. Our inventory is always changing, so there’s always a chance for a great find!
