Receiving parcels at halls is super convenient, but there are a few simple rules to keep everything running smoothly. Here’s what you need to know:
How it works
All parcels are registered at reception when they arrive. Make sure your name and room number are on the package. If it doesn’t match the system, it won’t be handed over.
Collecting your parcels
Once your parcel’s there, head to reception to collect it. Don’t leave it too long though, you’ll need to pick them up fairly quickly because...
What happens if it’s not collected?
If your parcel isn’t collected in time, it’ll be returned to the sender. So be sure to pick up your deliveries promptly!
Lost parcels
If you think you’ve lost a parcel or can’t find it, the first thing to do is speak to reception. They’ll check if the parcel’s been misplaced or stored elsewhere. If your parcel’s not found, it’s a good idea to contact the sender to see if they can help.
Food deliveries
Food deliveries can’t be accepted at reception due to hygiene and storage concerns. Make sure you’re there to collect your takeaway or supermarket delivery.
