A THRIVE Event

Let's Move with THRIVE - join us for a Circuit Fitness Class, facilitated by a qualified personal trainer, this fitness class is suitable for those of all abilities.

Never been to a circuit class before? No worries - this is a 45 minute class (including warm up and cool down) that consists of a range of exercises using your bodyweight and the equipment provided. The PT will take you through each move, and you'll have short breaks between the exercises, which you'll take turns on and complete in rounds.

This will be on Thursdays at 4:30pm, so come and move with us, whether you're a gym aficionado or not!

All THRIVE events and activities are set up to align with the PERMA model of positive psychology and are designed to meet at least TWO of the model's five core elements of wellbeing: Positive Emotions; Engagement; Relationships; Meaning; and Accomplishment.

Here's how this activity meets the model:

POSITIVE EMOTIONS

Exercise releases endorphins! I know you've heard that before. But with good music going, community and motivation, we hope you'll leave the class feeling better than before, even if you leave sweatier too.

ENGAGEMENT

As you take on each exercise, you'll focusing on your form and the muscles you're working. This class will give you a chance to get our of your head and into your body, recognising a strength you may not have even know you had.

RELATIONSHIPS

You'll be supported by a passionate personal trainer, while also exercising along side your peers. Nervous about going alone, that's okay, invite a friend! A workout is often better together.

ACCOMPLISHMENT

You'll come out of this class proud of what you've done. And who knows, if you come every week, you may leave in week 4 feeling stronger and more capable than before. But, even one class makes a difference.

Where? International Hall's Multipurpose/Yoga Room - this isn't your hall? No worry, let reception know you're here for the class.

When? Every Thursday until our last one on the 27th of November.  We recommend you bring a bottle of water and wear comfortable clothing, suitable for lots of movement.

How? Spaces are limited, so sign up below.
