What time is it? Summer time! That's right - we're going all out this year. And for those who are experiencing summer for the first time in the UK, we've compiled a bucket list of London-style summer recommendations.
Garson Farm
Whilst the farm gates are closed at the moment, depending on the weather, they expect to be open around late May or early June. They have a big range of over 30 seasonal crops you can pick from. It's a great day out with friends, or even a solo trip for some sweet berries! Keep checking their website for their opening updates!
Brighton
If you're looking for a seaside getaway, Brighton is the place to go. Known as 'London-on-sea', it features a famous pebbly beach, the vibrant Brighton Palace Pier and the historic labyrinths of shops. It's a perfect spot to grab some fish and chips by the sea - this is a proper British summer!
London Fields Lido
Located in the heart of London Fields park, there's an Olympic-sized 50-meter heated outdoor pool. This could be a fun activity for you and your mates when the sun's out or for a relaxing solo swim in the morning. They also have an on-site cafe for a post-swim coffee and a bite to eat.
Exmouth Market
Enjoy an evening with your friends, sitting outside in Exmouth Market. The street is lined with bars and shops with outdoor seating. It usually gets quite busy, so it might be best to go in the afternoon for a bite to eat and claim your seats! It's also more than just a bite to eat. When the sun's out, you genuinely feel like you're on holiday!
Pub Gardens
Similar to Exmouth, enjoying a drink out in the sun with friends is perfect, and sometimes you might just want to head down to the pub instead of a rooftop bar - and that's okay! A pub pint in the sun hits differently than a cocktail. Check out the best pub gardens near Bloomsbury.
