Make the most of your time here if you're staying on!

Staying for a while longer? We've got you covered!

Are you staying in Halls over the summer? Or perhaps you live in London permanently and are looking for some staycation ideas - whatever your situation, we've got some ideas for how to make the most of summer in London.

Explore the colours of a flower market

Columbia Road flower market is open every Sunday from 8pm to 3pm(ish). For great atmosphere and some bright colour, the market is about a 30-minute bus ride from Senate House.

Watch a show at Shakespeare's Globe

You can get standing tickets from just £5, and they have performances of many of Shakespeare's classics coming up, from Much Ado About Nothing, Richard III, The Taming of the Shrew, Antony and Cleopatra and The Comedy of Errors.

Indulge your inner foodie at Seven Dials Market

20 independent food and drink vendors are waiting for you at Seven Dials. From a cheese bar (aptly named Pick and Cheese) to Bad Boy Pizza and Lucky's Hot Chicken, there's bound to be something that takes your fancy.

Seven Dials market is also ideally located in Covent Garden, where you're also spoilt for choice when it comes to shopping (or the perfect Instagram photo-op).

Hop on a boat trip

If you can get down to the river, Uber Boat by Thames Clippers now have a fleet of boats that are always zipping up and down the Thames. Use your contactless card or device to tap in and you can travel right across London!
