At Nutford House, residents raised a range of issues affecting daily life, from laundry capacity and plumbing to catering, outdoor space and support visibility. Your feedback has helped us better understand where improvements are needed and where changes could have the biggest impact.
Here’s a look at some of the action taken so far in response to what you told us.
You said: More laundry capacity at busy times
Our action: An extra washer and dryer in the main laundry
An additional washer and dryer have been relocated to the main laundry area, with new power points installed to support the change.
You said: Better catering options, variety and portion sizes
Our action: Improvements to food choice, signage and access to seconds
We’ve worked closely with the catering team to improve the overall offer. This includes increasing variety, improving signage around vegetarian, vegan and halal options, and responding to concerns around portion sizes. Leftover food at the end of service will now also be available for seconds for an additional 10 minutes.
You said: Mental health support in hall could be more visible
Our action: Clearer wellbeing messaging through RA activity
The RA team is working to make the wellbeing focus of the events programme more visible, so residents can more easily see what support is available.
Thank you to everyone at Nutford House who shared their views. Your feedback has already helped inform a number of practical changes, with more work continuing in the background.
We’ll keep using what you tell us to guide improvements and shape future priorities in hall.
