In November, residents at College Hall shared feedback on what was working well and where improvements were needed. From opportunities to meet neighbours to shared kitchen facilities and laundry access, your comments helped highlight the areas that matter most day to day.
Here’s a look at some of the things you told us, and the action we’ve taken in response.
You said: Better chances to meet people living near
Our action: Hot chocolate evenings on each floor
Hot chocolate evenings have been brought back on each floor at College Hall, giving residents an easy, low-pressure way to spend time with their neighbours.
You said: Better shared equipment and frozen food storage
Our action: More fridge-freezers and refreshed pantry equipment
Fridge-freezers have been added to selected floors and pantry equipment has been refreshed across the hall, helping improve shared cooking and storage facilities.
You said: Shared fridges were not always being left clean
Our action: Weekly pantry fridge checks
Weekly staff checks of pantry fridges are now in place to help keep shared spaces cleaner and more hygienic for everyone.
You said: Some dryers were not performing well
Our action: Working with the laundry company to improve performance
We are working with the laundry company to review machine performance and ensure issues are identified and resolved as quickly as possible.
You said: More flexibility around laundry access
Our action: Looking at quieter-time information and access options
We are looking at how to share information about quieter laundry times and exploring options for more flexible access.
Thank you to everyone at College Hall who shared feedback. Your comments have helped shape real changes, and they continue to inform what we focus on next.
Not everything can be resolved straight away, but work is ongoing and your feedback remains an important part of that process.
