Residents at Eleanor Rosa House told us that cleanliness, repairs, drainage and laundry were some of the biggest issues affecting their experience. We know these are important parts of feeling comfortable and supported where you live, and we have been taking action in response.
Here’s a summary of some of the things you told us and what we’re doing about them.
You said: A higher standard of cleanliness on arrival
Our action: A strengthened cleaning schedule and more regular checks
The cleaning schedule has been reviewed and strengthened, with regular management checks and additional equipment in place to help maintain high standards.
You said: Problems with shower and toilet drainage
Our action: Specialist work towards a permanent solution
Specialist teams are working on a permanent solution, with formal steps taken to make sure the issue is fully resolved.
You said: Laundry facilities you can rely on
Our action: Regular servicing and daily laundry room checks
Regular servicing has been agreed with the laundry company, and a daily laundry room check is now part of the hall routine.
You said: More clarity on how to report a repair
Our action: Clearer instructions throughout the hall
Clear instructions are now displayed throughout the hall, and residents have also been contacted directly with information on how to log a repair request.
You said: Repairs completed more quickly
Our action: Additional resource to deal with outstanding repairs
Additional resource has been brought in to deal with outstanding repairs promptly, with the most urgent jobs being prioritised first.
