London is a foodie heaven, so if you want to try new amazing things and discover London at the same time, look no further. Here is a list of some of London's best food markets! Not only will their food and produce make your tastebuds happy, but each one will allow you to get a sense of and discover a different area of London.
North London
- Bloomsbury Farmers Market: Right across the street from College Hall, it is an excellent place for breakfast, brunch or lunch on a Thursday!
Thursday: 9 am to 2 pm.
- Leather Lane Market: An outdoor street market in the Holborn area. It is the oldest street market in the Borough of Camden and only a 26minute walk from College Hall.
Monday - Friday: 10 am to 4 pm.
- Seven Dials Market: A multi-level food court with many mini-restaurants and other small stalls and shops.
Monday -Tuesday: 11 am to 10 pm, Wednesday - Saturday: 11 am to 11 pm, Sunday: 11 am to 9 pm.
East London
- Victoria Park Market: A food market within one of East London's most beautiful parks. Explore the food stalls and buy fresh produce and enjoy the live music!
Sunday: 10 am to 4 pm.
- Broadway Market: Well known for its high-quality produce, fashion, vintage clothing and independent boutiques.

Saturday: 9 am to 5 pm.
- Old Spitalfields Market: A covered market established over 350 years ago that hosts a variety of stalls with food and much more.
Monday -Friday: 10 am to 8 pm; Saturday - Sunday: 10 am to 5 pm.
South London
- Borough Market: One of the largest and most renowned markets with high-end delicious food.
Monday - Saturday: 10 am to 5 pm; Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm
- Southbank Centre Market: A lively outdoor market right next to the river Thames.
Friday - Saturday: 12 - 9 pm; Sunday: 12 - 6pm.
- Maltby Street Market: An outdoor market with fresh produce, food stalls and boutiques uniquely positioned underneath the arches of a railway bridge.
Saturday: 10 am to 5 pm; Sunday: 11 am to 4 pm
- Vinegar Yard: An outdoor market with food and bar stalls that converts into a flea market on weekends. It is also only a two-minute walk from KCL's Guy's Campus!
Tuesday: 5 pm - 10 pm; Wednesday - Thursday: 12 - 10pm; Friday - Saturday: 12 - 11:30; Sunday: 12 - 8 pm.
West London
- Portobello Road Market: Famous for its appearance in the film: Notting Hill, this market has various things, from street food to vintage stalls and souvenirs.
Monday - Saturday: 8 am - 7 pm.
- Marylebone Farmers' Market: An outdoor market where you can find seasonal produce, and local and artisanal creations.
Sunday: 10 am - 2 pm.
- Mercato Metropolitano Mayfair: One of Mercato Metropolitano's multiple locations, this market hosts multiple small eateries inside a repurposed church building.
Moday - Thursday: 12 - 11 pm; Friday - Saturday: 12 - 12 am; Sunday: 12 - 10pm.
