In November, we asked you to share what it’s really like living in Intercollegiate Halls. We wanted to hear what’s working well, what could be better, and what you’d like to see change.
Since then, we’ve been reviewing your feedback hall by hall and taking action. Some changes have already happened, while others are underway and will take a little more time.
Here are some of the key headlines. If you'd like to see what you asked for and our action for each hall of residence, click on your hall below.
You asked for halls that feel more connected
We’ve taken action to improve social opportunities, shared spaces and resident events across several halls.
You asked for the basics to work better
From repairs and laundry to cleanliness and plumbing, we’ve been focusing on the issues that shape everyday life.
You asked for clearer communication
We’ve introduced improvements to maintenance updates, support information and hall guidance to make things easier to understand.
You asked for better shared living spaces
We’ve been responding to feedback on kitchens, catering, gardens, social areas and other spaces residents use every day.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to share feedback. Your comments help us understand where we need to improve and where changes can make the biggest difference to day-to-day life in halls.
This is only part of the picture, and work is still ongoing. In mid-April, we’ll also be launching our end-of-year survey, so keep an eye out for your chance to have your say again and enter the prize draw of up to £300.
